I've bought a number of Guitars online over the past years but I've never bought a Taylor online. I know some dealers sell Martin's at 40% off MSRP - are there Taylor dealers (online) that do likewise?

yes there are but once you get into the lower models( laminated ) the discount on many are not as deep no matter who sells them.
