I'm confused. Guild GAD F40

On the Guild site it states the nut width is 1 3/4 on this model yet some on line sales sites state 1 11/16 and some say 1 3/4. I'd like to know before I get one. Anyone own one of these that can tell me the truth. I would tend to believe the guild site but want to be certain.

Lot's of Guild info there. I have a US F-40 and can measure it when I get home, but might be different than a GAD.

Every place that I have looked at online shows the GAD F-40 to have a
1 3/4" wide nut.

Had a black one for a while but returned it, seem to remember it being 1 3/4" wide, a rather thick finish and compressed sound imho, probably not a problem on naturals.

I had a GADf40e blonde...2010 model and it had 1 11/l6 nut....I too noticed that the websites say 1 3/4...but mine was definetly a 1 11/16. frank

I emailed Guild and all they just sent me the info they had on their website which states 1 3/4.

I originally ordered a GAD-30 antique burst from my local store and waited 3 months only to find out that it would be another 2 months to get. So the rep called back from Guild said he could supply a GAD-F40 which he had in stock at the same price. (Good deal). I got on the Guild web site, looked up the model, stated 1 3/4 so I gave the store owner the go ahead to get it. But when I got home and snooped around a little, I'm finding conflicting info as to what size it really has. I don't know who to believe now. Guitar is on it's way so I guess I'll find out when it gets here. I hope it will be 1 3/4. If not????????

I'm not sure why they contradict so much...I know the f40 valencia has 1 3/4 nut...and I was expecting my gadf40e to have a 1 3/4 nut...but alas it wasnt it was 1 11/16....I cant say that some differ but I can say for sure what mine was. frank
