Default K&K into Fishman Loudbox to quacky, hollow...

I have a k&k internal twin piezo run directly into a Fishman loudbox 100. To me it sounds a little hollow, airy, or quacky. I would like a fuller, thicker, sound. I am thinking the Loudbox has an internal preamp. So would another preamp help or just add more EQ.

Not sure what you mean by Internal twin peizo. It's not a standard K&K "mini" with 3 transducers? The right preamp would likely improve things...... If you're running with a standard 1/4" male cable the Pure Preamp for $82 is a good value IMO and should improve the output sound considerably.
