Default Brunner Outdoor Guitar basic model

Has anyone any experience of this guitar?

I have found various threads but not on this cheaper range with laminate back sides and solid top.

From what i know of these guitars they are very expensive for a travel guitar.I doubt many people would give up $xxxx for a travel guitar unless they were well of and had the money to spare. Most of the members here are in the u.s,those guitars being built over seas are not too well known in north america.Cool concept though,if i had the cash i would pick one up.

If I recall correctly, these "entry level" models of the OG was selling on eBay at one time for about the same price as a CA Cargo. I think this was when Lucas first came out with them ... he was selling them on eBay for exposure.

As I recall, they are effectively the same design, with a few exceptions..among them laminate construction, and a different neck connection/locking mechanism. I also believe he was having them manufactured overseas, under his design and review, in order to reduce the cost.

Sorry, I haven't had any direct experience with these, but I certainly love the custom OG that I had Lucas build for me.
