I did have one for almost a year. I'm sure others will disagree but I am very unimpressed with that particular guitar.
Tak makes some GREAT guitars (the Naturals series, even the GS330s lower-end model is great for the $), but this one I just feel like they consistently miss the mark on. Every one I've played sounds thin, like a laminate guitar but it's supposed to be mostly solid. The neck profile seems larger than other Taks, like a big "D" shape. I took it out to play a gig once, and had a song that I did in C where I really had to drive on the C chord for awhile. When I was done that song my hand about fell off. And I was using light gauge strings. There are a lot of guitars I would recommend over the 530/531ssc for about the same money. Check out the Epiphone Masterbuilt, and the Taylor 110e.
