I remember a Dodgers game back in the 80's where they were winning 13-0 in the ninth inning. The other team scored a couple, then a couple more... They kept scoring. When they had about 7 runs, Tommy Lasorda started getting really animated. Every run they scored after that, he went off a little more. By the time they tied it up, he was throwing all kinds of stuff in the dugout, anything he could get his hands on. When they scored the go ahead run, I remember him throwing the water cooler all the way down the dugout. The players were pretty much huddled together in a mass to avoid getting killed by him... To this day, that was one of the most entertaining innings of baseball I've ever seen. |

I've sat throught many a game with my but Stan where we had stuffed ourselves with hotdogs and then when home after one of our "closers" having got us out of there with about 10 more runs.....can anybody guess what decade that was...except for this one....? LOL.
I love baseball...but just not the ways the Rangers play it. |

I have heard that the Rangers have sent scouts to Japan to try and sign that Japanese high school pitcher. He would fit right in with their current pitching staff. |
