Posting of Tabs on this site - Depository?

Has anyone ever thought of starting a thread to post different tabs that can be shared with Forum Mumbers? Is this legal or allowed? I was thinking of tabs created by members or from past teachers or even tabs out of books or magazines that people have seen - used / played - and really liked? There may be some copyright issues with some of this??? But with all the fingerstyle players that share ideas and use this Forum - I thought this would be a great idea - a depository of tab for all to share and use..........
