Yamaha CPX900 - gorgeous - shame about the heads

The CPX & AXP 900 to me look amazing.

Having owned an APX-SPL I for 11 years I'm looking at options (the CPX with the slightly fuller body really suits my needs).

But why oh why have Yamaha stuck gold heads on; the CPX/APX 700 comes with chrome heads - and looks the business.

I'd be half tempted to get a 900; then take the heads off and stick some replacements on - but is that doable - can you get factory replacements?
