Default Forum CD Submissions - Time is running out!

9/27/07 - Update: Due to concerns communicated by various members, the Selection Committee has decided to extend the AGF CD project submission deadline until December 31, 2007. This will ensure that all those who would like to participate have time to put together their submissions. So no more excuses... let's hear what the AGF can do!

___________________________

Just a reminder for everyone... there's only about one month left before the deadline for song submissions! October 15 is our deadline!

Time to do some serious recording and mixing and send in your submissions.

Have fun! We are all looking forward to hearing what you can do!

Russ

It's true... and we're all waiting to hear more songs.

I'd be interested in how many people are planning on submitting, myself. I know that I am... anyone else?

"IMPORTANT! If your cover song is selected for inclusion in the compilation, you will be required to obtain a Mechanical License. If a Mechanical License is not purchased and forwarded to the producers of this project within two weeks after notification, your recording will be removed from consideration.
This license can be obtained at http://www.harryfox.com/public/songfile.jsp. Fees can be calculated by going to the Harry Fox website.

An AGF release must also be completed, signed and included with your submission. Please include three signed copies. "

Thanks topographic!

Yes, covers are allowed, but a license will need to be purchased if your song is selected.

On the TGF Vol 2 CD I did a cover. It was really simple to get a mechanical license, in actuality.

Wade:

I am very much hoping to submit a song or 2. I've been suffering from tennis elbow all summer though, and it has severly limited my guitar playing. I am able to play a little more now though and am working on getting my chops back up to speed. I need to be careful as I resume playing activity, so I am thinking that I may be close to the deadline before I submit.

I will be submitting a song and will probably just barely beat the deadline the way things are going....

I have a feeling there will probably be a surge of submissions in October.

I'll be there. I thnk I'll send in two or three. Do I need to do the forms for each song or are they all covered by the one set of three?

You'll need three. One per song.

Default Forum CD - Deadline: Oct. 15 for submissions!

Well it's now September 15, so you have only another month to go to submit your songs!

I trust everyone is recording, mixing, re-recording and re-mixing!

We are all looking forward to hearing your songs and producing our forum's first CD as the AGF!

Thanks to all who are participating and to all who anxiously await purchasing our first CD!

Russ
