vox ad50vt
I just bought a vox ad50vt, and im in love with it. but i have a question. I have an epi les paul that i use with the amp, and on most of the distortion channels, when i have my hands just on the strings, and/or push the strings down toward the pickups it will make a humming noise. and when its loud, it will screetch when i push the strings down toward the pickups. I have tried the noise reduction method, but i has not solved my problem. So is there something wrong, or is it just something i have to deal with. thanks
Mike

nope, doesn't matter. I 've heard that it could be main loop hum and that my guitar isn't shielded.

Hi, Mike. I've got a 60VTX. Heck of an amp. Have you checked out www.valvetronix.net? They have settings for all the Vox VT/VTX amps and a forum. One member, Voxman is extremely knowledgeable about these amps, and is also very helpful with questions.

yep. He has answered a few posts of mine. But i asked the shop where i bought it about it, and they said that it could be a bad ground in my guitar. How hard is this gonna be to find?
Mike
