Default nice...

looks like a solid body, dual p90, stoptail bridge, single volume - single tone, 5 way switch with a
koa top, pre-04 800 series inlays and a r taylor style headstock (although it has the taylor inlay)...

very cool

thanks for sharing the pic

I dunno, looks like koa to me, and probably mini-hums instead of P90s, but check out this thread for more...

No doubt Tommy is field testing some Taylor proto types. Doubt we'll see anyting like this until next year or so a the earliest. Though, Taylor always likes to use the Winter NAMM show to rock everyone with the their new lines. I did see a video on the Taylor site where Brian was discussing efects and was using a prototype solid body. Perhaps this a field test.

Tommy is die hard Taylor for acoustics.

The dark streaks on the top look more like koa. The guitar looks interesting I would like to know the specs.

It's a protoype he is testing out for Taylor. He has a blog and talks about how much he is digging it. I expect it to show up sometime next year (when is NAMM?).

Can't be. Koa can also have lots of Flames! Flamed Maple would only have horizontal patterns but not vertical one.

You may be right. Didn't notice the vertical stripes at the bottom before.
