Hey Tom, thanks for drawing my attention to your Guitarapolooza show in the Events section here on AGF. I rarely think to look way down there, and apparently not many other people do either - only 121 views! Are there rules about you posting a thread here in the Custom Shop? I'm really excited about the opportunity to meet Ben Wilborn and Michael Watts, and all of the other makers and players as well.

And I'm dying to see your new Wilborn in person! I think it's the most beautiful work of his I've seen yet, and that's saying a lot - I'm a big fan.

My goodness that is a saucy little number! Beautiful in every way. Like a petite little lady with all her jewelry on! Can’t wait for next Spring.

Thanks Stan and Dennis. She is a beauty and next Spring gets more exciting all of the time. My next thought is to invite the builder of my guitar cabinet. I have a feeling it would be great exposure for his product and he may want to be there too!!!! My mind is always working haha which is why I can't sleep at night.

When Ben sent the above pictures, something was not quite right with me and then I remembered I thought we had selected different tuners and indeed we had. Ben put these on because he was anxious to get this strung up and give it a try.

The tuners came in the mail today and will replace those in the above pics.

What a gorgeous instrument!!! Cannot wait to hear a sound sample when you get it. I go back and forth between Ben’s Bantam and Lion models as to which is my dream guitar.

I like that word. I was just talking to Ben about it last night, just enough bling, just enough inlay, just enough everything so that the sum of the parts creates a perfect guitar!

Thanks, I am having an event at my house which Nemoman just eluded to that will feature several luthiers as well as Michael Watts. Ben will be among this group. This guitar will be there along with a few EllieBelle models and if we knew you were coming, I am sure we could have a Bantam there as well so you could try all 3 models back to back. There is more information in the Event subforum if interested. I promise it will be a really cool time.

Tom and Ben, that is simply one of the prettiest ive seen in a very very long time. Every element, every color, every detail fit so nicely together. What a great collaboration! Just super sweet guitar! Congrats to all!!

What a beautiful instrument! It's almost worth trucking to Texas for next spring!! I'm sure it's a joy to play too. What a cool guitar!

Enjoy it and maybe I'll get to see it in person!

Tom, all the little touches on this guitar add up to an amazing instrument. Love the addition of the tuner buttons. Everything ties in perfectly. Very happy for you!
