Right after despair, I think there's hopelessness--sometimes called utter despair,this is the stage at which you realize that your dreams may never come true.
Now is when you have to really buck up. Back on the ranch, you had to buck up after you got bucked off a horse. Also, if riding bucking horses, you almost always want to stay on top of it all. AND SO, I say unto you, BUCK UP! We're with you, feeling your pain, and having a heck of good time at your discomfort.

I've heard that New York is the hardest state to get through--all those darned people. Sometimes takes a year to get a birthday card from one side to the other. And then all those people going postal. And strikes. Heat waves. And so forth. But I'm sure you'll get it, eventually. By the way, when you buck-up, you're also supposed to hang on.

acwild, don't listen to Evan - "bucking up" and "hanging on" are what you did during the months before your guitar left Ireland. Now is the time for hand-wringing, pacing, and if you're up for it: driving around the neighborhood to find and peer in the back of the mail carrier's vehicle to see if there is a guitar-size package in there.

Think about it. If YOU were a Customs Inspector and saw a box with Emerald on it, what would YOU do?!?
