Value Mint Martin D1
I need input on what a mint first year 1993 D1 Martin with original hardcase might be worth. I've hung onto it because my Dad bought it before he passed and he never played it. I've strummed it a bit. I need input on approximate value. Thanks in advance for any help.

$700-$800 seems to be the going asking price. Not sure what they are actually selling for.

Guitar Center recently had three or four of them, some with a case, for $500 to about $650 IIRW ... but none was in mint condition or even excellent conditiion. I came close to buying the $500, which had some nicks so the lower price. But I'm trying to buy a Martin with solid rosewood back and sides so I'm thinking (hoping) maybe I can find a MMV at a price I can afford. Free is a nice price I think.

I sold a very nice guitar 3-4 years ago. I don't remember any blemishes. It was a D12-1 12 string version for 650ish if I remember right. I wish I still had it. It was a nice guitar.

Discussions of price are allowed. That rule went away many years ago.
