SOLD! Rainsong Shorty Al Petteway Limited Edition Carbon Fiber guitar
SOLD!
Reluctantly selling my Rainsong Shorty APLE guitar to cover some recently spent home upgrades. I've gone back and forth on this but I don't play it as much and since picking up another limited edition guitar that I've now decided to keep this incredible guitar must go. I'm not interested in trades. I picked up this guitar initially to fill a 'void' in my small collection for a guitar that I could take anywhere, in any conditions. The beach, camping, bonfires, outdoor parties, leave it in the car in the heat and cold - you name it. But the reality is that I just never take a guitar into those conditions and keeping such a beautiful guitar locked away unused is a crime. You can read my NGD post with all the details about the guitar at the link below. It's a short scale guitar on an OM size body. 1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing, Fishman Premium Blend pickup system incorporating a UST and internal mic for the best tone. The beautiful finish is something to see in person. The photos don't do it justice. Rainsong made this limited run of these guitars with input from Al Petteway. I'll post a video clip from You Tube of Al talking about how the guitar came to be as well as some photos below. These guitars are harder and harder to find these days. This one is in near mint condition with very little play and comes with the Rainsong OEM hard shell case. Here's the link to my NGD post: NGD: Rainsong Shorty APLE (Al Petteway Limited Edition) Here's the link to Al Petteway playing and talking about the guitar on You Tube: And here's my photos, of course: Last edited by Methos1979; 08-04-2016 at 08:34 PM. |

Cool guitar. If you took trades I'd be talking with you.
So, best of luck on the sale!

Wish this model had a wider nut and string spacing. I'm not that far from you and I'd ride up and try it and probably buy it.
I think Lance Allen's video and audio only demo clips of it sound better than Al's YouTube ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zKvdWHQQPo Mark |

Thanks for the video link. They are a great guitar for sure.
I didn't think I'd like the 2 3/16" string spacing either but then I got my Santa Cruz with that spacing and came to like it very much. Come on up and play it! |

I was lucky to hear Al play one of these last week. I then bought the last one available from Dream Guitars. These are really great sounding and easy playing guitars.
I have no affiliation with the seller. |
