If you could have anyone's singing voice...
An old favorite from my Brooklyn youth, by a bunch of local guys who made good - didn't get too much US airplay outside of the NYC area, became a major hit in the UK (also covered by the Walker Brothers) in the early days of Radio Caroline:

I always wished I could sing like Lou Gramm from Foreigner.

The Man in Black.
A voice hewn from granite. |

A former band mate has a voice capable of anything, he's worked very hard to develop and maintain it over the years. I could work solo if I could sing like him.
Otherwise maybe Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), or Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull). |

I think it’s awesome that some of the choices I don’t even like to listen to!
Fascinating, nonetheless! Scott |

Lots of good choices posed thus far...on any given day, I’d be very happy with most of them.
Today: John Lennon. |

I can’t pick only one cause it really depends on my mood.
#1 for over all best tone and emotion; Paul Carrack. #2 for over all pure guttural rock and roll; Paul Rodgers. #3 for best vibrato; Bonnie Raitt. Close behind my top 3, Dean Martin, Freddy, Daryl Hall, David Pack. |
