Fishman SA330X.
I have only used mine for one gig though, but been sitting and playing it a lot in the office where I work in the weekends lately to get a better feel for it in a large room, and I really like it. 2 microphone/guitar inputs with reverb, notch filter, phantom power and 3 band EQ. Expandable to 6 inputs using the expander box. I have the sub, but based on my testings at the office it does not bring much for me with just vocals and acoustic guitar (and I have a pretty dark voice). The bass response from the 6 x 4" woofers is impressive. Check it out! /Per |

EAE... Elite acoustics makes a pleathora
Of speakers that meet your needs. Great quality sound small pkg. Built in mixer. Pole mount. I own the d68 mk2. Plenty for 50 folks in a room. |

+1 on the QSC CP8. Small, full featured, crystal clear yet powerful if need be. No Bluetooth or battery power would be it’s main shortfalls, I suppose.

While my preferred amp is the Bose S1, when we need more inputs and EQ (the Bose has only two inputs and very limited EQ) we use the fantastic EAE StompMix X6 digital mixer. The EAE line of speakers varmonter mentions above basically has the exact same digital mixer built in to their wonderful speakers. If I was looking for a one-and-done single amp solution we would almost surely avail ourselves of one of EAE's offerings.

Hi hotrod
I'd opt for either the QSC 8" or 12" two way cabinets. About 25 or 35 pounds respectfully. If you go with the 12" you can always drop back to a single and run it directly behind you over the top and use 2 for larger crowds. Their 10" cabinets are not as good sounding. (to my ear and I was forced to listen to them every week for two years) |

Another vote for the QSC CP8. The 8" speaker is perfect for guitar and it's small.
When I was looking I bought and returned the JBL and the Bose and settled on the CP8, couldn't be happier. I own a Schertler Jam 400 as well, not small nor light but great sounding. The CP8 has a similar sound. |

JBL Eon Compact is also a good option if you want battery power.

Any love for the JBL EON One Compact? I have a pair and think they're good for their size.

My "very high quality very small sound system" is a Fishman Loudbox Artist. Perfect for small gigs and so many other uses. No pole mounts, but a chair or stand usually gets it high enough to fill a room.

+1 for the schertler jam 150’s. I run two of them and the sound is very hi fi to my ears.

Im considering the Elite Acoustics A2-5 (3 channel input, 30W, battery powered) or the Schertler Jam 100 (also 3 channel input, 100W).
How would theese compare when playing in a church or small building with 50-100 people? Playing mostly fingerpicking acoustic guitar, and one (sometimes two) vocal singing. |

The 30 watt Elite Acoustics amp is underpowered. If it is enough power for that church setting it will be barely.
I had the original D6-8 40 watt amp, and while the sound was fantastic, it always seemed to be just at the edge of distortion. Fortunately, they upgraded it to the mark 2 80 watts specs, and now it is a perfect wattage for small to mid sized gigs. The general rule of thumb is 1 watt per audience members minimum. 30 watts for 50 people is not enough. |

The Schertler Jam is a good match for that size audience. One of the 80 watt Elite Acoustics amps would be good as well. |
