Question Anybody regret buying a Guild F-1512 jumbo 12-string guitar?

Product L I N K

Is there anything I should know about, such as belly-bulge or binding issues?

If you have one, what tuning is it in most of the time?

Also, what strings do you use?

Thank you!

Nope.

Nope

> If you have one, what tuning is it in most of the time?

Tuned down a semi tone to 'D#' "standard" intervals; A=440.

> Also, what strings do you use?

{.010 - .047}, various brands, usually coated.

You didn't ask, but I fingerpick all my guitars using my nails as picks.

For more pertinent info, especially on the F-1512, please see the very recent thread entitled "Entering the world of 12 strings":

I just got mine, so I don't have long term ownership experience. I haven't even changed the strings yet. No issues I have come across yet. Currently E Standard, but will probably will tune down a half step when I replace the strings. Not sure what gauge I will pick as I'm not sure what strings I will end up using. Probably 11s or 12s depending on what strings I settle on.

No, but I do regret not buying the GAD version from the early-2K's...

Has anyone ever had a Guild F-1512 stand by your bed at night and watch you sleep?

Ha! No, but my F-512 sits on a stand in my music room and continues to tease my Martin dreadnoughts about being small and quiet. I thought I heard one say "fatso" under its breath.
