Default "Daisy Goes a Dancing" by Pat Kirtley

Hi everyone, I just thought I'd share my cover of "Daisy Goes a Dancing" by Pat Kirtley. It was really fun to learn and play. Thank you to anyone who takes a listen.

Just STELLAR Roscoe! You've found another one of my favorite artists who doesn't get much current recognition these days. Wonderful rendition.....congrats to you!

Thank you so much Glenn! The tuning is DADEAD, it's an interesting tuning that I need to experiment around with a lot more!

Nice piece of music and wonderful playing. Having tried my hand at fingerpicking for a year or so and having a half dozen not terribly impressive blues pieces under my belt with absolutely no ability to be creative - I never got past rote memorization - I bailed on it. Needless to say, I'm very impressed by really good finger style players, and this is really good finger style playing...

Enjoyed it a lot,

-Ray

Thank you Ray! That means a lot. I used to only flatpick/hybrid pick and it's been a real challenge to get used to fingerstyle playing, especially the alternating thumb rhythm stuff.

I have no idea to be honest! I hope he's still playing though, I've become pretty obsessed with his music as of late

Pat does have a site on Pandora. The last four years he has had a problem with his eye sight that limits his playing.
