That burled Desert Ironwood with sapwood is a real treat!

Default Frets and Bones

I have the frets installed and we have selected the bones for the nut and saddle:


On this guitar we went with Buffalo bone. It is a bit harder than regular bone which sounds a little brighter. It's a good tonal match for this Redwood top.
The mottled amber color goes nicely with the rest of the guitar

I have this Greta all strung up and am happy with the first strums. Looking forward the hear how this develops during this initial break-in

I have my assistant showing off the comfort of play on this neck with semi-hemispherical finished fret ends on a bound Desert Ironwood Fretboard
