Nice idea for a thread.

Mine would be Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A Changin'".

Has some of my favorite Dylan tunes and it was the first Dylan album I ever owned - my mom bought it for me for Christmas in 1965. Pretty hip mom!

This one certainly had the most impact on me, and apparently a lot of other players judging by how dominant the style became.

"Standard Brands" Chet Atkins and Lenny Breau. All acoustic, all standards, the perfect guitar record, IMO

I'll throw this one out if somebody might be unfamiliar. This is a veritable textbook on arranging acoustic instrumental/vocal performance. So tight it squeaks.

This is really hard but i know what i play the most often-or i should say who.

Ed Gerhard: The Live Album

close seconds would be Ed's "House of Guitars", Larry Pattis "what tomorrow brings"(which has been in the auto player for about a month now with no sight of change coming soon, L Juber "Vol 1 of the Beatles".

Then there is Roger Hudson and his wonderful album "Guitar Peace" that is in the basement player. on and on.
