antares actually makes 2 real-time hardware auto tune devices. the auto-tune (atr) and the vocal producer (avp). the auto-tune does pitch correction, while the vocal producer does pitch correction plus some other effects.

they've been running on ebay for about $300-350. i think musicians friend also carries them.

I have the TC Helicon in my rack and I love it! Very natural when used tastefully, and a real time/track saver in the studio.

When I do live sound, I can make the most horrible singers almost sound good! I know it's cheating...I don't use the harmony effect live for myself, of course ...but it can make a couple of bad singers sound pretty good and keeps 'em coming back for more gigs! Their friends all tell them how great they sound...until the next gig with a different sound company!
