Default Looking for a US source for Hiscox cases

Every time someone asks about case”A” or case “B” inevitably there are multiple responses all with the same theme that case A or case B is fine but Hiscox cases are a better option. I get that. What I don’t get is where the heck to find one.

I have scoured AGF, UMGF, Reverb, and the internet in general. Has anyone found a US based source for a Hiscox Artist case? I have a Don Musser SJ that is crying for a new case.

There was a recent announcement that Calton and Hoffee were merging and were going to become the US distributor for Hiscox, but that hasn’t taken effect afaik. For now, I think the two main sources are either direct from Hiscox or from Anderson’s in the UK.

I don’t know of a US source. I buy mine from Andertons. Never had an issue. If out of stock, they order on from the manufacturer.

THIS!

There have been several threads on this topic, recommending Anderton’s. Prices plus shipping from the UK to the US appear to be competitive with US dealers’ prices and, as already stated, if a particular case is out of stock, they can obtain them quickly from Hiscox.

As stated above, I have purchased two through Anderton's, and the price including DHL shipping was competitive with what they were selling for back when there was a US distributor.

If you go to Anderton's website, the published price includes the EU VAT Tax. The VAT will be deducted once the item is in your cart and a USA address is entered. The DHL cost to ship on the last one was like $75 about a year ago. It took roughly a week for delivery from order to arrival.

Yep, same here. And at a total price that I used to be able to buy them here in the US.

Same here as well. One issue to consider is you may need to let your credit card company know ahead of time as they will charge in GBP, mine just sent a text notification but it might cause a delay depending on your card.
