Default Crafter's of Tennessee TNFTM Guitar Mark Taylor Rare

Being offered is a very rare 2004 Crafters Of Tennessee TNFTM (Tennessee Flat Top Mahogany). Crafters of Tennessee was founded by Mark Taylor (The same Mark Taylor of Rich & Taylor Guitars). Crafters of Tennessee made instruments from 1977 up through around 2012 in Old Hickory, TN. Learn more information about Crafters of Tennessee at: guitar-list.com/brands/crafters-tennessee

This was a custom ordered guitar and was built with a much higher grade of mahogany and additional appointments that are not found on the standard TNFTM. The spruce top is tightly grained and has wonderful figure. The Mahogany back is one of the nicest I've ever seen. There are diamond inlays on the ebony fretboard, abalone Tennessee inlay and rear volute on the headstock, open backed 14:1 Grover tuners, black/white binding on top and back, bone nut and bone long cut through saddle (not glued in), ebony bridge, and tortoise shell pickguard. The bracing pattern is more of a forward shifted X in the pre-war style. Deep base and the warm, clean, clear mids and highs as expected with mahogany.

There are no cracks in the wood and the guitar has been stored in a case at roughly 40% humidity when not being played. There is some light checking in finish on the top typical for its age. There are a few surface scuffs and scratches that I detailed in the pictures. The neck is straight and with excellent play-ability. The action sits at .90" on the low E at the 12th fret with plenty of saddle left at the bridge. The neck is what I would call more of a medium full "C" shape. The case has some exterior scuff marks and the handle was repaired when a rivet pulled out.

Asking $2200 or best offer. Shipped free to the Continental US.

Please feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks for looking and God Bless!

Default PRICE DROP

Awesome guitar. Now asking $1950.

You will look a long time to find another one elsewhere. She's a stand out, very unique. A mighty guitar all the way around!
