Default Stewmac Violin kit?

well, having just completed my first guitar assembly
(an electric Baritone, but a guitar, none the less...sorry no pics, i don't have a web site)
and replaced a bridge and saddle on my bro's. acoustic...

I'm thinking i'd like to keep making some stuff. Has anyone tried the Stewmac Violin kit? I don't really play violin, but have a friend who plays and who worked with a violin maker for a summer who's willing to give me some pointers.

is the kit any good, how many special tools other than clamps?

thanks a bunch.

Greetings Andy,
I recently completed a Stew-Mac dreadnaught kit. I found instructions and materials to be very good. I’m sure the violin kit will be of similar quality. You might want to check the www.mimf.com for more information on building techniques.
