Default Free Christmas Guitar

I have secured a Taylor GS Mini with gig bag in like new condition that I'd like to give it to someone who needs but can't afford a guitar. I'm fortunate that I don't know anyone in that situation but I'm sure someone else does. If any member has someone in mind, please send me an email or PM with your recommendation. It can't be for yourself. I'll pick a name by random this Thursday. This will give me time to have it shipped in time for it to get there by Christmas. I am aware there are organizations that donate guitars but I would prefer to try to find someone through the AGF "family". Merry Christmas to all. Pete ([email protected])

Really cool. I know people without guitars, but they CAN afford em. So I'm no help here.

Very generous thanks for doing this and looking forward to reading about who gets it.

Merry Christmas

Very cool, Pete. I know any time I give, it always comes back to me ten-fold. (BTW, I'm still salivating over the FP350smc you have in the classifieds)

That's very generous of you. You could contact the folks at Hungry for Music.

This is a great organization. I've been a supporter for a number of years. Here's their mission:

"At Hungry for Music, our most important service is putting musical instruments into hungry hands. We serve children who demonstrate a desire to learn music as well as teachers who have students willing to learn. Music has the ability to heal, it soothes tension and has the ability to transform sadness and aggression to hope and creativity. Music is the prayer through which the world heals itself.

We believe that by sharing instruments and musical experiences, children who would not normally have the opportunity can experience a kind of freedom & self-discovery that is often stifled in an atmosphere of economic hardship. All of our events, benefits, instrument drives, & CD production are aimed at uplifting those lives and enriching culture at large by spreading the availability of music education."

Have a great day!

Default Free Christmaa guitar

Our daughter had ovarian cancer three years ago and is still suffering from the side effects of the chemotherapy. She still can't work.

She has always dreamed of owning her own guitar and I think she deserves the best guitar after all she suffered.

Thanks so much for your offer.
