Well, i can honestly say I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to attend the SBAIC. The timing just isn't good for me.

These guitars look pretty special John and I would have loved to play all of them. You build such a sweet guitar, tonally among some of the best I've played. Best of luck on your show. I hope you go to the show with three, and come home with none .

Thanks Mike
I hope that happens as well, though I'll be scrambling to get ready for Memphis next year if that does come about.

John, the first song I wrote on the L-00 you made me around 15 years ago was called "Social Circle". You were living there at the time and it just spoke to me as a title.

I will play it for you this weekend.

Here are a few more shots. First that maple with the oft discussed bridge design. The back has a burst by Tony, and the neck a burst by John.

Finally, the last guitar which is not so much a looker as just a basic 000 with Indian rosewood sides, a Sitka top, Koa binding, etc. It turns out to be one of the best sounding guitars I have ever made. All the planets were aligned with this one. It will be my loss leader at SBAIC.

Thanks for looking, and if you are in Santa Barbara during the show come by my brother's and my table.

This guitar look fabulous ! It seem that the koa binding is larger on this model ? Is there a particular reason ? WHat's the size on this one ?

Maybe that allow to round off the edges more without having to buid a bevel.

Thanks !

Smile Nice smells...

John, you are correct about the nice smell wafting out of your soundports!

The red cedar ? You use for the bracing really smells wonderful...

Steve and I are loving 128! Super clear, rich and detailed tone, with a TON of sustain.

And LOUD, too !!!

I wish I could have been there, and you had way more attendees, but I know good things will happen for you as a result of all this incredible work for SBAIC...

Cheers

Paul
