Not a Guitar
Just completed a Mandocello, body shape based on a Gibson LO, multi-scale, 24.75"-26.25" Oregon Myrtle & Sitka Spruce with Indian Rosewood... Sounds pretty good IMHO..

Very nice looking! Does it have octave courses? I've never tried a mandocello.

The C course is octave right now which I don't think I like so will probably change that.. I also think I need a bit heavier strings so that needs done too...
It was a fun build and fun to sort out the multi-scale geometry Kerry |

Wow, really nice! I'm into 8 string family instruments. I play some mandolin and also more recently, octave mandolin. What is the nut width? I've heard that the mandocello can be a real hand full.
Can you make a recording of it so we can hear it? Svea |

Yes it is a bit of a handful to play, but then again my skills are suspect..
nut is 1.5" I'll see about recordings... Kerry |

Beautiful! What kind of wood is in the rosette? The same as the rest of the guitar?
