Oh Man!!! I've listened to that video a dozen times and always thought whoever owned that guitar got the Grail! Not easy to let go. Good luck with finding great tone in a smaller guitar.

Thumbs up Same Woods!

Santa Cruz RS for sale on this forum. I never liked dreadnoughts and I love this style. Maybe its the short scale or twelve fret but it always felt very comfortable

Great sounding guitar and that was some awesome flatpicking by Graham Curry.

+1. From experience I can say that the 1934 package from Santa Cruz is the best of the best; their other models are good, too, like the RS, but the 1934 is the premium.

It is gorgeous, if it didn't have the blank fretboard without inlays i'd jump on it. I just can't get used to no inlays for some reason.

It does have dot inlays in binding on the top of the neck.

Default Offers

Interesting offers so far, it does have a Brazilian headstock so I would be concerned about shipping overseas with CITES, it is an outstanding guitar I just prefer a smaller body guitar.

This is an exceptional guitar. Old growth and harvested tone woods really add to the voice.

Default Beautiful guitar

I would love to add this to my collection but I’m struggling with understanding the price. When I evaluate it against a Martin D1 Authentic, a 12 fret mahogany/Adirondack with HHG and pre war bracing, there’s a $4k difference in price- ugh!

Default Current SCGC Upcharges

Old growth Mahogany adds $2835 list, $2551 retail
Old growth Adirondack adds $2060 list, $1854 retail
Maybe that demystifies the difference. Hope it helps. Good luck and take good care.

Do you also struggle to understand the price difference between a Porsche and a Toyota?

Default Trade offers

Been some good trade offers, would be interested in a pre war guitar co rosewood OM or 000, or other makers small body guitars. I appreciate everyone’s interest. Again this is an exceptional guitar I just need something smaller.
