Nice work on the bound sound port! John, As you said about a black Ebony FB, it looks like it means business!!!

I played 99 at two old folks gigs today. New elixir PB HD lights. Yikes!!! Boss tone and LOUD, TOO!
(Scary, as I am older than some of the folks in the audience!) haha I get to be the young stud! Snicker...

I am ready to put this to work ASAP!!!

Glad to know you are back at it! Hope your vacation was a blast....

Inquiring minds want to know. What is the current home Brew?

A fab weekend to all.

Cheers

Paul
Paul, I know you'll LOVE that guitar. Being the connoisseur of fine instruments like you are, and having the talent to play them like you do, I can only imagine the very cool stuff that will come out of this one. It is a beauty! Looking forward to seeing and hearing it strung up and singin'...in your words...like a choir of songbirds.

This is going to be one fine axe.

I'm just glad I'm NOT in the shop with you after all those beans in New Orleans!

Well I find bean meals to be a good way to keep the humidity levels high during the cold dry winter

Thank you sir. It's been a long time since I have used maple as binding, having slipped into my "dark" mode. It's refreshing to have someone like Paul help me keep all options open. Very similar to Steve Marshall, Paul's friend who wanted a padouk body. Love it.

Smile Drooling...

Thanks Nemoman! And thanks to all for the kind comments!!!

John K deserves all the kudos, and has been wonderful to work with!

Glad to see she is back from finishing!

Also glad JK "enjoyed" the maple binding and bevel extravaganza!!!

Sure is pretty.

I am thinking your #99 has now inspired 5! Custom builds, at least... Pretty impressive!!!

May your herds increase... Haha

Cheers

Paul

Wow that bird's eye maple turned out to be a perfect binding/bevel choice! Its grain pattern provides a really nice contract against the straight grains of the back and sides. I love how the port is bound with it too.
