Maybe one day I'll try three, but it will have to be a really nice song... (but if it needs three fingers, it'll probably be too difficult in other ways for me to play anyway..!)
I'm sure you're able to adapt, Shawlie.

How many fingers i play with depends on the song i'm playing.

I forgot to add pizza as a choice, too. Sorry! The three-fingered crowd has really shown up of late, too.

I worked on the ring finger a little some more today, at a nice slow tempo. Still awkward, and I have to really concentrate, but I can play with it some. It's frustrating, but there are a couple of songs I have in my sights where having that third finger would be an asset so I keep after it.

Hmm...I use all my fingers. No poll answer to cover thumb + 4.

I might use all 4 for a rasgueado stroke, but otherwise 3 is more than enough. (Obviously not counting thumb!)
Even the most complex classical pieces require no more than p-i-m-a. (Unless anyone knows of one which requires pinky?)

For the most part I use thumb, middle and ring. Self taught so I did what felt natural to me but have been working on getting the index finger more involved.

Hasn't been to tough although if I'm not concentrating on using the index, I tend to naturally go to middle and ring. It's coming along nicely though.
