Default Brondel The 18 spectacular SOLD

Amazing OM that I sold and traded for again. Just about a perfect guitar in every way. An absolutely breathtaking top with the most beautiful sunburst I致e seen. Light as a feather and very resonant. Comes with luxurious Ameritage case. Cosmetically near perfect. I致e gone back and forth so many times about whether to keep it, but I壇 like to get down to one guitar, and ultimately I知 a small guy and prefer the 12 fret 0 size for my playing style, which is 99% fingerstyle.

Laurent's website says these now start at $9600. I'm now asking $6850 shipped. I'll knock off $200 for local pick up (Los Angeles).

Really prefer a sale, but I might be tempted by a Fairbanks or Martin 000-28 1937 authentic + cash, Collings parlor, or a Nacho, Elliott, Rick Kelly/Carmine St., Danocaster or other boutique telecaster.

This video is a great demonstration of tone (Note: this is the same model but not this exact guitar):

Free bump here for a phenomenal sounding OM! Reminds me a lot of the Merrill OM-18 I used to own with that deep mature bass.

IMO, the Brondel sounds better than the real 1933 OM-18 that TME also demoed recently.

GLWS

What a beautiful guitar, Julius! What year is this particular guitar and has the saddle been lowered over time? Just trying to gauge how close to new this one is and where it is on the aging journey.

Super tempting... would have to replace my beloved Collings OM1T, but looks like a worthy potential successor!

Hi, thanks for the kind words. The guitar is a 2021 (I think the first two digits of Brondel SN are the year).

Can't speak to how much the saddle has been lowered authoritatively but there appears to be plenty left. I had it set up by a top local tech a year ago and it seems to have stayed the same, though I'm someone who goes by feel, not precise measurements. Attached a couple photos I hope will help. Happy to provide more closeups, video, or personal examination for anyone who'd like more info, thanks!

Very close on two separate deals last week, but last minute changes have this still available! Open to trades of acoustics/electrics plus cash, thanks.

Thank you. Would also gladly do a trade for Benson or Victoria amp + cash. Would particularly love a Dizzy Bird/cabinet setup or Vicky Verb but open to all, thanks.
