Had to do it... NGD coming!
Well i couldn't resist and ordered one of the new 2018 HD 28. I have been looking for a new Martin dread and this one should fill that void. Thanks to Ted and Helene at LA guitar sales!!
Will post pics and such when i get her in my possession...

Congrats, J! Getting what is essentially an HD-28v with the (better) MLO/PA taper neck and at a cheaper price too is a relative bargain, IMO.
These new HD-28s are going to sell like hotcakes...
