I don’t own one but the TP-30 is well-regarded and considered to be of good value. Search on the Delcamp forums for past discussions.

I owned a TP 30 for awhile and very much enjoyed it. The sound was really good and the neck curve was a thin c shape. Very comfortable and easy to play. The body however was a little bit larger than other classicals I have had. And so a bit uncomfortable for me. Otherwise I would still have it. It might be that the earlier built ones were larger and is no longer true. Other than the size I think it would be hard to find a better deal.

I had a TP-30 about 10 years ago - it was well built and nice woods, but lacked a little in the dynamics. Very balances and smooth - just not a lot of power.
It's possible it was just one that wasn't as good as the rest, and maybe they have lightened up the builds some now too.

I owned a pavan tp30 cedar years ago
I recall it had a nice balanced tone Deep bases I remember it was a bit on the quiet side, not big projection Not too much sustain and not too many overtones It was a decent workhorse guitar If you can get at a good price, it would be worth pursuing But not if you had to pay top dollar Good luck |
