That was sensational. For all the reasons you stated. Especially the phrasing. A very accomplished player.
I'll have to listen to more of Toots Thielman's music!

Wide angle lens placed close to subject. Her right hand size it significantly disproportionate in size compared to the rest of her body.

Phrasing is courtesy of the arranger...the late, great Roland Dyens. I highly recommend his recording Night and Day, which includes this and other standards arranged in his unique, iconic style.
