Really digging this thread.

No electric these days, sold the Tele for a Guild. However check out this guys collection posted on Stew Mac:

"Goldtop-O-Rama!! A customer brought his collection of vintage Les Paul gold tops into the United Lutherie shop so Erick and the team could give them a tune up. Most are from '68 & '69 but one is a reissue from 1972. Gibson gave this "reissue" an unusual title considering its features. Do you know what they called it?"

My #1 electric these days is semi-homemade Les Paul replica

Body was constructed by dwarves from old growth mahogany and maple in a secret cave on the other side of the mountain.

It recently had surgery to remove the "G" word from the headstock.

It goes to eleven...

I've had a ton of electric stuff over the years, all the old stuff is long gone.

My remaining 25" scale electrics are all for sale.

All the amps ( except a Zinky cigarette pack ) are gone.

I recently downsized from an Axe II to a Tonelab ST for my amplification needs, and
I plan to explore the wonderful world of iPad modelling using my shiny new Sonoma Wire Works Guitar Jack 2.

Life is good.

Default Favorite Elec and Amp Part Deux

I had the Esquire and the Tophat Amp a few pages back. Great combination that just ROCKS!!! But just like everything else it's hard to really pick a favorite so....here's part deux. My partcaster and the ubiquitous Fender Blues Jr. In relic taos turquoise with Bareknuckle Pile Driver pickups and weighs less that 7lbs (the esquire weighs less than 6!). I'm a pretty lucky dude!!

Cool My '74 ES-345 & '73 Deluxe Reverb

Seems that it has taken me a long time to finally get a picture of these two together... the old Yamaha amp that's on the bottom of "the stack" is my favorite for my Taylor T-5 or my ES-175...

...but this pair would be my "go-to"!

The guitar [I]was[I] a 345 at one time... I've done so many modifications to it, that it hardly qualifies anymore... but she plays really sweet, sounds wonderful; Seymour Duncan JB for the bridge, PAF '58 in the 'board... both with coil taps...

play on...............................>

2003 Fender Hiway 1 Telecaster tri-burst/maple bought new. Vintage tuners, Gotoh Six Saddle bridge, all stainless slothead screws, vintage round string tree, Bill Lawrence pickups, Electrosocket jack cup, B/W/B pickguard, flat wound strings w/ wound third....

I use a 1979 Lab Series L-5 Amp or my custom Blues Jr with drk green Tolex and tweed grille with hemp speaker and some other goodies.

I also owned a 2008 AM Std Tele tri-burst/maple but it couldn't hold a candle to the Hiway 1.... I gave it, and a Bugera amp, to my grandson.

I've got far too many amps in the guitar room, but I generally play this one or a Vox AC30. I'm primarily a Strat guy and prefer the "chime and grind" of a Vox or Hiwatt amp.

Default Update

I originally posted my LP Studio and my GA 20-RVT, but I've added a new LP Classic 1960 in Wide Red, so new pics are in order.

Here is the original set up I posted (different picture):

Here is the new (new to me. I bought it used, but it had never been played. The original owner was a collector who put it on display when he bought it new in 2003. He passed way. I just got it and took the original strings off a couple weeks ago. Has the case, warranty card, set up sheet, etc. Unplayed at a price I could not pass up). You can see it has the factory sticker still on the pickguard.:

Both of these beauties together:

Great guitars and amp combo. Happy, Happy!

Here is my humble set up that I move weekly from here to my drummers house. Amp is a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III, BOSS DS-1, CE-5, and DD-3 and 57 American Vintage Strat.

Amp used to be an Epiphone Valve Junior that I gutted and turned into a Marshal Plexi Lite 18 watt. Speaker Cab has a Weber Alnico Blue. Its not a versatile amp, but I love its singular tone. This summer i'll try my hand at building a 5E3.

The amp name is a play on my last name and is my first build. Yeah, note to self....next time attach faceplate on head before soldering the on switch....I'll clean it up one day
