Marshall acquired by Zound
Yep not in the family or even British anymore.
https://www.zoundindustries.com/news...nd-technology/ What will this do? Will they keep it honest and not change the classic circuits? |

Do they even make any of the “classic” circuits anymore? I was under the impression that was t the case for years.

Maybe I meant to say original. I’m sure the classics are still built but of course you won’t see those at guitar center. |

The family will still hold majority control and be on the board.
Lots of hand-wringing on this one. Bob

I was surprised when I heard the news. A little sad too. Marshall is an institution. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when any company gets acquired, in the music industry or other.
But the amps will still be made in the UK and based on the article, the Marshall family will own 24% of the Marshall Group and be its largest shareholder. |
