Default Fishman Experience

Just thought I'd share a really positive experience with you folks.

I have a Fishman Rare Earth Custom Blend which I purchased new some 8 or 9 months ago. Little more than a week ago I discovered that the microphone didn't work properly when mounted in the external position (the pickup has both internal and external mounts for the gooseneck mic). So, I went looking for my sales receipt and couldn't find it. I emailed Fishman to ask them how to proceed. Scott McCutcheon at Fishman promptly emailed back and sent me an RMA number. They recieved the pickup and immediately went to work on it. In addition to getting the pickup working properly Scott was a real pleasure to correspond with and promptly replied to several emails I'd sent him asking various questions about the pickup, installation options, etc. Fishman handled the repair as a warranty in spite of the fact I didn't have my receipt.

So, Fishman gets excellent marks in my book for superb customer service. It sure is nice to deal with a company that takes care of their customers like that.

I sent them several e-mails with Aura questions and received quick and friendly replies to each. I agree - it's nice to get that kind of C.S. when so often companies seem to ignore e-mails. And I'm not actually a customer - yet.

I've never had a problem with Fishman products...including the Martin Thinline 332...but it's nice to know that if something were to happen, I can rely on the decent customer service Fishman seems to provide...
