Glue used for nut on CA GX?
Hey all, I recently bought a Peavey made Carbon Acoustics GX. I’d like to remove the nut and was concerned about what was used from the factory to attach the nut. Was the glue that was used epoxy or glue that’s similar to what’s used normally on wood guitars where it can be easily removed? Anyone ever remove a nut on one of these? If so, did you have any issues? Before I carve a new one to get a bit wider string spacing, I’d like to move the original one over a hair towards the bass side for easier thumb over fretting.
Thanks!

Just an update fyi on glue used. I called Peavey and was told Locktite Epoxy was used to glue the nut in. Part of the “forever guitar” Peavey was promoting with their Composite Acoustics line.
