Default New CF showing up on Amazon

Just saw this today... Not full CF but nice looking and I love the look of the gig bag they are showing with it. Even comes with a strap and a "gift box"

It's nice having a "no worry" guitar. Particularly when it's practically free compared to the other CFs (even cheaper than the Klos). Anyone played this? Seen one in captivity? Going to jump on it?

That is most interesting indeed especially at that price. It even has transacoustic technology, I wonder how it compares to Yamaha's.

I saw some quite favorable reviews online on Enya ukuleles for their price point. No personal experience though

Also when I spoke with Amazon before pulling the trigger on my Breedlove through them it appeared that the return policy was pretty reasonable

Interesting - a CF top and HPL back / sides, plus what looks to be a knock-off ES1.3 pickup system (three knobs and an endpin jack / battery box that looks SO familiar). And an "....Enya BT Neck Junction...." which sounds suspiciously like a clone of the Taylor NT neck join. I would want to see some specs for nut width and scale length. Maybe for $650 delivered, taking some risk might be in order. I am suspicious of things that are potentially too good to be true coming from China.

I own a Rainsong PMJ-1000 from about 2005-2006 which could be described in a similar fashion - CF top, laminated wood back & sides, rosewood fretboard, Made in Korea. It has been a decent low-maintenance guitar for many years. It was Rainsong's attempt to make a lower cost composite guitar, but did not really catch on in the market place. Mine was bought on clearance.

Yes, this is quite interesting. I’m not in the market to buy one, but I do hope an AGFer does (Kramster, are you reading?) and reports about it.

Interesting concept at an attractive price. There’s more here in the December thread:

Let me guess the first song to play on that: Orinoco Flow?

That consummation part is hard to resist. Nothing like a happy ending. One of you young people get all over this, and report back.

Very interesting combination of wood and laminate at a cheap price. I know that the jury is still out but if its is a good guitar it could be a winner. I’d really like to demo one!

Keeping in mind the first video is not a high budget and the guitar still sounds very good to my ears. It appears that the TA feature is a lot like the Tonewood Amp and I think he is using it in this video. If so, that is enhancing the sound of the guitar unplugged and I'd be interested to hear it plugged in as well. Also, the pickup system in the Amazon pics looks enormous- so if it weights a lot it is a tone killer. Could these be serious contenders? If these guitars have good fit and finish at this price point?

Edit: the second video appears to offer the unplugged sound as the actuator isn't in the soundhole of that guitar. Still sounds good for approx. $500 bucks- especially when he puts it in drop D

It would work similar to the Tonewood amp but it's even more similar (or direct knock off) to Yamaha's Transacoustic technology with the same name. Kinda makes me wonder how they can get away with that.

I wouldn't be able to adequately respond without making a politically charged statement.

More and more of these less expensive CF options keep popping up, you'd think that some of them are probably going to be pretty good.
