Wow, congratulations. Nice fretboard inlay. Can't wait to see pics of the finished product.

Default Ryan Cathedral with rose Inlay

I inlaid that rose and stem for Eric in the fingerboard for his upcoming Cathedral. I was glad to be able to do it for him since he's been such a good friend and customer of mine.

I posted a sequence of photos of the inlay process over at the Official Luthiers Forum as a tutorial.

I don't usually do any work for other luthiers' guitars anymore, but enjoyed being a part of this one in light of what great people Kevin Ryan and Eric are.

Regards,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Eric, it will be worth the wait. At least, that's what I keep telling myself (and I know it will be) ... I've been waiting for a Mission since Fall 2004 ... but the guitar hasn't been designed yet, so the wait will be longer.

Verrrry classy, Kevin. Nicely done! Congratulations, Eric. This is going to be one very special instrument, ideally suited for your acoustic jazz stylings.

The AGF is a better place for having great people like you two among us!
