Question Best place to buy? What's Wholesale?

I am wondering if someone can provide a "better than average" place to purchase Taylors? Also, Does anyone know for sure if Wholesale price is 50% of suggested retail, like some other manufacturers? I don't mind paying a fair price for instrument, but I like to know how much I am paying over cost.

Hi Fivestar

Try Fredsmusic.com. I purchase my W65 from them on 11/1/00. Good bunch of guys and they will negotiate.

I give my business to Bob at Buffalo Bros. They have the best everyday prices I have ever seen, and they take very good care of their instruments. Please tell him Scott Little sent you if you contact him.

Talk to Tim Nelson at Mass St. Music in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a caring man and will be fair to you.

I second the vote for Buffalo Bros. I bought a W14C and their price was more than $300.00 less than any other dealer. I also bought a Goodall Koa Grand Concert from them.

I have the privilege (or is it a curse?) to live near Buffalo Brothers. I've bought and traded many fine instruments there ... a total of around 30 guitars.

I've always had a great time when I visit ... usually every 1-2 weeks ... and they don't mind me coming in without buying anything ... though it seems that I'm usually more guitar heavy by the time I leave.

Washington Music Center, 301-946-8808, talk to Bill Brooks or Brian Meader. Great store, great guys, lowest prices I've ever found anywhere.
