2016 Goodall Parlor Model - Cocobolo/Master Italian Spruce - Lowered to $SOLD
Serial CP-14 6502. Build completion date: 9/1/16.
14-fret Parlor size Flattop Guitar. 14 wide lower bout. 4.125 deep at end pin. Solid Master Grade Italian Spruce top with abalone rosette. Solid Cocobolo sides and two-piece back. Gloss finish on body. Mahogany satin finish one-piece neck. Ebony fingerboard with abalone Mother of Pearl square inlays. 1.75 nut width / 2.25 string spacing at saddle / 25 scale length. Ebony bridge. Ebony bridge pins and end pin, all with abalone dots. Bone nut and saddle. Ebony peghead veneer with inlaid abalone G. Curly Maple binding on body and peghead. Ebony binding on fingerboard. Clear pickguard. Gold Gotoh 510 mini-tuners with Ebony buttons. Hardshell Ameritage Humidity Control case. Built by James Goodall and his son in their Fort Bragg, California shop, this Parlor model is surprisingly loud and resonant for its size. Its in outstanding condition, with only a few light string changing scratches on the peghead overlay and some pick marks on the clear pickguard preventing it from being in mint condition. No dings or impressions anywhere on the guitar or neck, and negligible fret wear. Beautiful wood sets and build quality. Playability is excellent, too, with action set to 6/64 and 4/64 for the low E and high E strings, respectively, at the 12th fret. From current Goodall price lists, if ordered new today, this guitar would have an $11,200 list price and a $10,080 street price with the allowable dealer discount. $SOLD shipped in the continental USA only.
