Default 2021 S. Kinnaird Price Increase/AGF Deals

Well the time has come after five years that Steve and I need to raise our prices. Our base price will now be $6200 effective on April 1, 2021. We may be proven fools on that day, but the economic realities of our job necessitate a change. Thanks to all of our customers and fans that help us do what we do.

But wait, what about you the loyal AGF reader? Can't you benefit from taking the time to click this link? Why yes you can - because since we're raising our prices, we're going to lower them just for you. All you have to do is find yourself on this map....

Steve and I are trying to fill up our map. If you can give us a new state for Kinnaird Guitars to live in, we'll give you a 10% break off of our current base price of $5200. (that's $4680 for a custom build about to be worth $6200!)

But...but...MY state already has a guitar in it. OK, we also have a bunch of wood on hand that we've never built with. If you want a guitar out of one of these woods, we will honor the 10% off.

But...but...I just want a guitar and not have to find a loophole. PM me. You're a delicate flower and I need to handle you like the perfectly special customer you are.

If you find this thread after April 1st, then we will still honor the discounts (they'll just be 10% off the new base price).

For those that have made it this far, here's the list of states we still need to put Kinnaird Guitars into:

Alaska . Alabama . Arizona . Connecticut . Delaware . Hawai'i . Idaho . Indiana . Iowa . Kentucky . Louisiana . Maine . Maryland . Minnesota . Mississippi . Missouri . Nebraska . New Hampshire . North Dakota . Oregon . Pennsylvania . Rhode Island and Providence Plantations . South Dakota . Utah . Vermont . West Virginia . Wyoming

And the on hand, ready to build, never used in Kinnaird instruments before, wood sets (no particular order):

Alaskan Yellow Cedar . Curly Birch . Cherry . Mesquite
Granadillo . Indian Laurel . Ovangkol . Zebrawood
Nigerian Satinwood . Ceylon Satinwood . Wandoo . Jarrah
Eucalyptus . Olive . European Ash . Swiss Pear
Avodire . Curly Brown Oak . Curly Black Oak
Katalox . Goncalo Alves . Makore

*AGF discount is 10% off base price (a $520 value that will be a $1520 value after April 1st) and does not extend to upcharges such as wood, bevels, etc. nor to the overall price of a commission.

Thanks AGF. Don’t be a fool on April 1!

Here’s one of the sets we have on hand. Kind of like a slightly purple ebony. Glassy and dense.

I had a Katalox guitar once, don't they call it Mexican Ebony also? It was a heavier wood, but maybe that was the build? I remember it to be very dense and did have a tap tone like BRW or even Ziricote??? Of course I know pretty nothing about what I am saying LOL. It is beautiful, I know that much.
