Sounds, and looks great!
I've started looking at a baritone as a second gigging guitar since I've been playing around with a lot of songs either really high on the neck with a capo(5th or 6th fret and higher), or dropping the tuning down 1 or 2 steps, and thought I could benefit with a baritone. I've even been playing with a song in drop C tuning, but there are still some higher notes in the song that are just out of reach vocally. 1 or 2 more steps would be perfect, but then the strings are too floppy!

I had an 8-string Ibanez guitar for a few years, but only sold it late last year. You've got me thinking of this again. I was originally only looking at the 6 string versions from Alvarez, or even the new Faith Baritone.
I've wasted plenty of time researching them already!

Wow, that sounds way better than my ABT60e, which I think sounds pretty good in its own right.

Rock on, brother!

Cool! You play it well! Is it made of wood?

It is my fourth baritone, and can say that is great opportunity to have playable, solid sounding and not expensive one.
I recommended Alvarez (in all versions) as a perfect start to acoustic baritone world.

Bought it in Andertons https://www.andertons.co.uk/alvarez-...ck-abt60ce-8bk
They have more videos on their YT channel.
Personally I like it much more than more expensive Faith.

I was thinking of buying a 6 string alvarez baritone for $399.

Is the 8 string so much better, ??? like night and day? in terms of sound?

thanks

I have a baritone that I love, but I have been jonesing for the Taylor 8-string. It's just too much money for me to sink into another baritone. But this might be tempting.
