Default SOLD: 2012 Gibson AJ

SOLD

Ok..I JUST bought this from a craigslister in my neighborhood. Once I got my hands on it, I couldn’t resist. However, when I brought it home, reality set in; I’ve got another guitar for sale (a Legend OM, rosewood if anyone's interested), and just can’t afford or justify the purchase. I'll keep the one that doesn't sell first
I’ve had it for one day as of this posting, so the details are courtesy of the person who sold it to me.

2012 Gibson AJ, purchased at Rumble Seat Music (formerly of Carmel CA, now located in Nashville). It suffered a neck crack, which has been repaired, so it’s priced accordingly (I’m listing for the same price I bought it).
Gary Brawer of SF installed a new bone nut and saddle last year. He also examined the neck repair and proclaimed it rock solid.

My observation, this guitar - to quote the seller - is a bully. If you are a ‘grasser, you shall fear no banjo, nor Martin D28. It'll hold its own.

Specs:
• Solid spruce top
• Indian rosewood back and sides
• 20-1/4" body length
• Multi bindings
• Sloped-shoulder dreadnought body
• Rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl arrows
• Mahogany neck
• 25-1/2" neck
• 1-23/32" nut width
• Open slot rosewood bridge
• Vintage nickel hardware
• Vintage firestripe pickguard

The original case is pretty ragged on the outside, but structurally sound (all the latches work perfectly). Other than the neck repair, it’s in excellent “having been played” condition. Some light swirling on the top, some minor belt buckle scratches on the back. No chips or dings or (other) cracks at all.

BTW, as much as any crack can be called “minor,” this one is. It’s not a broken neck; it looks like someone made a 3/4” superficial scratch. More like a scar than a crack.
