Default Mostly Carbon NGD

Least stressful winter guitar shipment. My Emerald X20 made its way in earlier this week. Still getting properly acquainted. In any case, here's some pictures.

That’s one cool, beautiful guitar. Congrats! So, tell us more. How do you like it...playability, tone, balance, volume?

Wow ! She’s beautiful, but sadly rendered unplayable on acount of being built entirely back to front,
surprised they didn’t spot this before shipping.

C’mon Emerald get your act together, we expect better from you !

Do you have to play it in front of a mirror?

Stunning! The blue and red Artisans are my favorite colors and that woody top is equally gorgeous. Nice!!

Very purdy!! It still counts an a carbon NGD, even if you have a little bit of wood on the top. Congrats!

Good playability. I was a bit surprised at the tone and volume when I got it on Tuesday. Maybe it was jet lag, but it was a bit quiet and subdued. By Saturday it seemed to have greatly improved; richer tone, and louder. I can see where some people have said it is a bit bass heavy, although it works for me. Still quieter than some of my other guitars, but certainly loud enough.

Going to switch the strings eventually so I can more easily compare to what I'm used to as I don't often use 80/20.

It has now probably taken the crown as my most left handed guitar, previously held by a multi-scale, wedge, sound ported dread.
