Thanks Dennis, and no, no Lignum Vitae. Iíll show a better pic later of that back plate, but itís not going to make it much easier on anyone.

January 12: Sometimes itís easier to use animal skins than find good wood.

Very nice guess Louis! We have used a fair amount of Texas Ebony, and this looks a lot like it, but alas, youíre still incorrect.
