Default Grabbed a new amp - Bassbreaker 15

So the amp I have been using is embarassing. I got myself a nice guitar as a divorce gift and I havenít been giving it a chance to do its thing. Sooo I picked up a used Fender Bassbreaker 15. Hasnít arrived yet but I am pumped. Really looking forward to a legit amp, and one that should suit my Tele really well.

Be interested to read your impressions when you get it

The bassbreaker 15 is a nice sounding amp with a great bluesy growl. I find it far more versatile than the 7 watter for many reasons. The bright switch is something this amp desperately needs. The xlr line out is a sweet feature. The 7 watt is nice too, but no true clean tones can be had.

They both excel at blues IMO.

Congrats, cool amp.

Well in the spirit of Black Friday I picked up a Gretsch Pro Jet store display guitar for 20% off. Barely any signs of being played. Dont have a pro series Gretsch in the budget. These sound great for the money. I got the gold. I dont love the color but I play in my basement. A lot of guitar for $300 though.

For my home use I could have lived with the 007 but the features of the 15 made it a no brainer.

The amp with the Boss Blues Driver is going to produce some sweet tones.

I need to improve my blues game. I love the tone more than the genre...

Well today was amp day. I am very impressed! So good to have a legit amp.

Was supposed to also be Gretsch day. The guy went back to the truck but left rather than bring box number two. It was marked out for delivery at the sams time as the amp. My guess is there was no way he was going out of his way to come back by the time it was realized. I was that close. What a cruel world!

Edit: That driver even put down that I was unavailable. Not cool. He clearly is not a guitarist

Either that he is a guitar playing sadist or from the opposite perspective he was very compassionate and took it upon himself to save you from the possible emotional overload of a combined NAD and NGD and sought to spread the joy over two days

Had an awkward exchange with the UPS guy today. But it ended in me playing my new Gretsch. Man they just feel right. And I like the gold way more in person. A super clean floor model!
