Default Resoldering Pickup Controls

So in the process of fixing the buzz in my CA I managed to "break" the pickup. and by break I mean the controls pulled off the wire. Is this repairable or did I junk the pickup? Can I just resolder the wires?

Not difficult. I would re solder it, but I do have ancient soldering skills.
Maybe watch some tube vids on soldering, practice a couple times on something else.
Then have at it , can't hurt to try before abandoning it. Identifying which wire goes where is the tricky part.

Best o luck !

Use a low-wattage iron, heat the wire and solder together, don't get it too hot, and you'll be fine. It's not rocket surgery

Cool. I may try it just for the exercise in doing the repair. And then will probably still end up putting the K&K under saddle in to replace it haha. For one thing its passive and for another its the best sounding undersaddle I have ever heard.

Afterthought from an old hand (I was a telephone engineer back before it all went digital) ,,,
Try not to breathe the fumes when soldering

Use a 25W iron(make sure the tip is clean) and tin the wire with a light coat of solder before soldering to the board. Also make sure the point of connection is clean by using a flux cleaner or q-tip and rubbing alcohol. The suggestion to practice on another junk PCB is a good one.

Here's a video.
